Obituary of Olive Mary Gladue

October 18, 1920 - July 25, 2009

It is with sadness that the family of Olive Gladue announce her passing on July 25, 2009 at Joseph Creek Care Village in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Olive was born in Lancashire, England and moved to Canada at 8 years of age. Olive leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Faye Gillis, son Wayne (Margaret) Hartle, daughter-in-law Marlene Hartle, 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents Annie and James Lawley, sisters Alma Lawley and Barbara Derksen, brother Vern Lawley, sons Larry Hartle and Jim Hartle and also her special friend Jack Potyok.

A funeral service for Olive will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook at 1:00 pm.
