Shawn & I first met Dwayne when he was about 18, Jenn was pregnant with Kayla at the time. We went through some pretty rough times with Dwayne as I am sure most people that loved him did. We also had lots of good times with him. Dwayne was always a happy and smiling guy. When he would call the house if I answered the phone I would hear in a big loud voice " hey, how's the twins"? I would know right away it was Dwayne. Dwayne used to have really long hair for quite awhile and one day he showed up with it all shaved off, we started calling him Sgt Pepper and before long everyone we knew was calling him that, we still do to this day. He knew how we felt about what he was doing so he didnt come around much for awhile, but he always called to let us know he was OK. Dwayne always knew we were there for him and he could count on us for help if he wanted or needed it. He had just called us a bit ago to ask if he could take us out for supper when he got back into town, of course we said yes. That is an invitation I wish he could fulfill. Dwayne was so proud, he couldnt wait to show us his new bike. We were both so happy that Dwayne was finding his way back. we were looking forward to spending more time with him this summer. Dwayne was a good friend and someone we truly cared about,, we will miss him always. To everyone that knew Dwayne "remember the goodtimes" see you on the other side SGT Pepper....
