Dear Jim and familyMy fondest memories of Joan are the Friday mornings that I would wait for you both to arrive at the church for bulletin folding time. I have to smile thinking of the many times I had more inserts than covers, or the other way around. I have other memories, such as picking raspberries with Joan in your backyard, and Joan sent me home with a huge bucketful. When Ryanâ??s dad died, she brought us a tin of muffins. She was so thoughtful, and kind, and special, I am so thankful I had the privilege to get to know her. We are deeply sorry for your loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you Jim, and with your family.Leah & Ryan Perry

Dear Jim and Family, I was so sorry to hear of Joans passing. Whenever I bumped into her down town she was always so friendly and caring. She never ceased to brighten up the day, and make life a little more pleasurable. You are in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time. Marny

Joan was a wonderful lady who will be missed by many. She and Jim used to come and fold brochures at the church and we would have coffee and talk while they were folding. They did this faithfully for many years. We had lots of laughter and I have very fond memories of someone who treated me very kindly during a difficult period of my life. Joan and Jim would take care of my dog if I was going away and she enjoyed going there. All I had to say was "Do you want to go to Joan's" and she would perk right up.Joan had many firends and was a dedicated member of her church. I will always have a soft place in my heart for her and my condolances to Jim on his loss.
