As a boy growing up in Galloway and Fernie, and in the many years since, my Auntie Grace was a wonderful presence in my life. I have very fond memories of her humour and gift for mimicry. She made us laugh, often when a good laugh was what we all needed. My most lasting impressions of Grace are of her love, kindness and caring towards her family, friends, neighbours and her community. Auntie Grace, thank you.

Dear Glen, Beaven, and family. Just this week, Naomi was looking for the rosary that Grace had given her. There are many times, we say when looking at books or jewelry, that this was from Grace Gill. What a kind, generous, faith-filled, and faithful woman of God. Thinking or speaking of Grace brings smiles and warmth to our hearts. We were fortunate to know Grace both in Fernie and Cranbrook. We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Grace, wonderful Mother, Grandmother and a friend to many. She was a very kind and wonderful woman and we were happy to have known her. Glen and Beaven and family. Mrs Gill has been a great supporter of mine as I journeyed toward Ordination as a Priest in the Anglican Church. I have held tight on to her words of encouragement.
