Obituary of Dora Proulx

Dora (Dot) was a very confident women who rose to all the challenges of her life. She spent time in military service, living and working in remote Canadian settlements and foreign lands. A tireless worker, she dedicated herself to raising a family, working to help support them along with her husband, and her volunteer service to the community. She loved outdoor activities, gardening, travel, and genealogy. She developed an extensive knowledge and skill in genealogy, writing a number of published family histories. Her passion in later years was sharing this knowledge and skill with others. She is greatly missed by her family, friends, and community.
