Our condolences to the Slownowski family, especially Jamie. Our on, Bryan played hockey with Jamie. Although Orest was a little hard on Jamie at times, he was one very dedicated grandfather. We saw through his”gruffness” and marvelled at his support! We will miss meeting him in the store or driving by in his old blue and white truck! Barrie and .Charlene Morrison

Orest was a good neighbour and helpful friend. Those who knew him for over the 50 years he resided in his home could count on him sharing his bountiful garden harvest every year as well as offering help when he could. He enjoyed his peaceful backyard, trees and growing family. He will be missed. Kathy Anderson Victoria BC
