I was so sad to hear of Debbie's death. For the many years I worked at Muriel Baxter school Debbie was truly a major part of the heart and soul of the school. She had a boundless supply of enthusiasm and was always there for everyone, student or teacher. I truly loved her.

Dear Murray and family.
Our hearts are saddened . We will truly miss Debbie and all the good times we had.
She was Bob's right arm and He will never forget the many years they worked together,
She kept him on the straight and narrow and kept me informed when we had appointments
that we could not miss. She was the BOSS.
Rest in Peace Debbie and know you will always be in our Hearts.

Condolences to Murry, Barb, Eunice and your families.
Deb and I have been longtime good friends since grade two.
She was a sweet, kind caring and loving lady.
I’ll miss her very much.
We had a lot of wonderful fun times growing up together and that’s what I will focus on and remember.
Hugs to you Deb in heaven. Until we meet again. ♥️

I met Debbie when I started at Muriel Baxter, which was one of my first teaching jobs in Cranbrook. Her dry sense of humour kept me going when the days were tough. I told her a story about what my toddler had said as I walked out the door to work one morning which was "bye, bye Lard Ass" - a famous line from some Cheech & Chong movie. From that moment on, anytime I saw Deb, she would call out "bye, bye L.A.." She changed it to L.A. to save the sensitive ears in the school :) I will miss Deb. Her strong suit was building relationships with everyone she met.

The last time I saw "Miss Coleman" at work, I wish I knew that was going to be the last time, because I would have told her how much my wife and I like her. (She knew.) My heart hurts a little writing this. RIP Debbie, you were a very special person.
