Obituary of Ron Rossi

Midnite passed away peacefully on Sunday February 9, 2025, surrounded by family.

He passed away at Kelowna General Hospital from a massive stroke.

He was born in Belleview, Alberta. Soon after the family moved to Kimberley where they settled. He worked various jobs until he was hired at Cominco Fertilizer and later transferred to the Sullivan Mine where he began his mining career. He retied in 2019 and settled in Grey Creek, British Columbia.

Midnite lived life to the fullest, enjoying things like fishing, golfing, gardening, and he had a real passion for getting fire wood.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Christie, children Jennifer, and Rob (Teresa), grandchildren Makaiya, Chloe, Cole, and twins Brook and Bodhi.

He was predeceased by his parents Pat and Shirley Rossi, as well as brothers Lyle and David Rossi.

There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Heart & Stroke Foundation in Midnite’s memory.
