Franco, in our early years together, we lived next door to your Mom and Dad. Your Mom brought over the yummiest gnocchi. We always enjoyed your parents. Those memories make me smile. Thank you Jim's former Knights teammate, Franco.

Once upon a time Diane would arrive at the back door of my restaurant to 'cook' dinner for her and Jim. I treasure this memory and felt it a honour to be their personal 'chef'. A truly good memory.

I’m not sure where or when I met Jim, I wish I could ask him. I know it was in the late 70s as I arrived to town shortly after he did. I watched all the ball games in Rotary Park and enjoyed all the fun we had during those times. We are going to miss you, Jimmy, I always enjoyed running into you and having a chat as old friends. We will look after your Diane. Rest in peace, my friend! My condolences to all that loved him

Condolences to Diane, Ken, Ron and Families ... I first met Jim in 1967 - we were in a Grade 5 / Grade 6 class in Golden together and became friends. Although we never kept in touch after he left Golden, we did manage to connect off and on over the years when he was in town visiting his parents, at his Mom's funeral and a few times when we were in Marysville and at Perry Creek. He will be missed by his family and friends. Cherish the memories as they will last forever. Carol (Johnson) Braisher
