Obituary of Reuben Troy Donovan Blackwater

Passed in the early morning of February 28, 2025. He was an intelligent, kind-hearted man, who was an incredibly gifted musician and composer.

Reuben is survived by his wife Avita Blackwater, his parents Reuben and Hazel Blackwater, brother Barney Blackwater, sister Lovina (Tammy) Blackwater, nephew Breadon Blackwater, niece Faith Danials, as well as numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Reuben had the most amazing friend base. They were a major part of his support system, he considered them family. For all the Vickis, Brians, Daryls, Cheryls, Jims, Judys, Bekis, Georgettes, Phyls, Dougs, Als, Codys, Terrys, Jeramys, and Denis, and all those too numerous to name, Reuben loved and treasured you.

Reuben was beloved and we will all miss the light and love Reuben brought to this world.
