Obituary of Linda Candlish (Habetler)

The family of Linda Candlish (Habetler) is saddened to announce her sudden passing on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the age of 59.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Don; mother, Rita Habetler (Phaneuf); brothers Don (Joanne) and Bob (Lori); sister Diane (Pat) Grunerud; and nephews Tony and Brennan (Natasha). She was predeceased by her father, Ben Habetler.  

Linda also leaves behind Don’s parents, Marilyn and Miles Riegert, sisters Denise (Rob) and Debbie (Bob), and their families.

Linda will be remembered for her love of family and animals and for the compassion and kindness she showed her constant companions.

At Linda’s request, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Invermere Companion Animal Network or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
