Obituary of Michael John Erwin

Michael John Erwin died peacefully at home on October 13, 2024, surrounded by his family, at the age of 63. Born in Prince Rupert, BC, on January 22, 1961, Michael lived a life filled with love, purpose, and an adventurous spirit.

Much loved by all who knew him, Michael approached life with grace and gratitude. He will be remembered for his warm heart, sharp wit, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife and life partner of 38 years, Katey Kirkconnell, his cherished children Riley Kirkwin and Jamieson Kirkwin, and his stepfather Clarence Lindquist. He also leaves behind his siblings: Glynis Langford (Paul), Shaun Lowrie (Dave White), David Erwin (Linda Enos), Christopher Erwin, Paul Erwin, and Beth Conner, along with 13 nieces and nephews and 8 great-nieces and nephews who will deeply miss his presence.

He was predeceased by his mother Roxanne Harper and father Owen Erwin.

Michael's life was a testament to love, resilience, and the power of connection. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
