Obituary of Allan Jacobson

We have lost a great man.

On Tuesday June 11, 2024 at the young age of 68 Allan Jacobson passed away at home due to heart failure. We are so overwhelmed and shocked. 

 

He was a loving husband to Barbie Jacobson, loving father to Darell Jacobson and loving Grandfather to Jade and Jasmine Jacobson. A strong loving and caring brother to Carolyn (Don) Gillanders. A wonderful farther-in law,son-in law, brother-in law, uncle, nephew, cousin. 

Darell and his wife Nikko Brar will miss you dearly, daughters Jade and Jasmine loved their Grandpa very much. Darell says that he can only hope to aspire to become just a fraction of the legend you were to him.

Al had such an impact on everyone he met. You met him once and remembered him for his warm heart and great stories. A true friend to so many people he knew in his lifetime. He would help out and fix anything that was asked of him, always there for you.

He was a hard worker. Worked as an underground miner, faller, water well driller, welder and did soooo much more. Anything he put his head to he would achieve it.

The void in our hearts will never be replaced. 

You were my heart and my rock Al and I will miss you so, so very much.

We appreciate all the love and support everyone has given us now and in the future.

Time heals all wounds but this one will take a lot of time.

In following Al's wishes there will not be a celebration of life. As we all knew that he lived his life to the fullest. So when we met each and everyone of you that felt his warmth, we too will feel it again as we bring you into our arms.

For through us all, Al may be gone but will never be forgotten.
