Milt and i are so saddened at the loss of Alan, as a nurse I worked with Alan for many years, He was a wonderful, skilled surgeon, always supportive of the nursing staff and I have nothing but fond memories of him. I have very fond memories of Alan's laugh when he spent time with my parents at the golf course or those crazy hockey parties. In my adult years he supported the work of health care not just from the hospital side but as a philanthropist. My thoughts go out to his family. I can hear the laughter in the heavens already.
