Obituary of Chad Ryan Welch

Chad Ryan Welch February 14, 1981- November 10, 2016 Chad passed away suddenly on the morning of Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the young age of 35, due to an enlarged heart. Taken from us far too soon, Chad's life will forever be a testament to a loving heart, caring soul, the value of family and unselfishness. Chad was a dreamer. He aspired to be greatness in this world and in many ways he achieved that. Most predominantly, it showed in how greatly he cared for those closest to him. Chad enjoyed skiing and snowboarding. Always the adventurous spirit, he was up for cliff jumping, white water rafting and anything that came his way. He led a fit lifestyle and grew up playing and loving hockey, which continued this into his adult years. Though Chad had settled in Calgary; his home was always in Kimberley with his family. His smile, full of life, inspired happiness in all those around him. Chad will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends - for he was the light of all our lives. Chad is survived by his parents Julie and Earl, his sister Kelly (Frank), his brother Shane, nieces and nephews Emmersyn, Kaden, Jett, Summer and Mavi. "Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not" A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 1:30 pm in the Elks Hall in Kimberley B.C, 240 Howard Street.
