Obituary of Hanne Lore Mezger

1930 - 2012

Hanne Lore Mezger passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at 81 years of age.

Hanne was born on August 14, 1930 in Hordorf, Germany. She loved to spend time in her garden and caring for her plants and in her kitchen baking delicious goodies for her friends and family to enjoy. The Kootenays were so special to her, as they reminded her of her birthplace in Germany. She will be missed by her family and her many friends.

Hanne leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Angela (Dan), grandson Stephen (Jen), granddaughter Melissa (Tyler) and son-in-law Ron. She was predeceased by her beloved dog Bailey and her mother Gertrude Bender.

At Hanne's request there will be no funeral service. There will be a family held celebration of Hanne's life at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in honour of Hanne may do so to the: East Kootenay S.P.C.A., Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6.
