Sorry to hear of your passing Dave. Thanks for tutoring me in my Algebra 11 distance education course back in the 1980s. Really enjoyed working with you on the border during those glamorous days at Kingsgate Amigo! Remember Lil, Andrea, Tony and all the other Officers! Beers to you Old Boy! Keep a seat warm for me up there in heaven Dude! You just got there a little sooner than me. Heard of your passing from my son Chris who can vouch for your poker playing accumen. Love you Man! I was fortunate enough to meet Dave this time last year for some work related training. I am grateful that I was able to get to know him a little. Great sense of humour, and a kind soul. He will certainly be missed. My most sincere condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

Martha Flick, David's mother was a good friend of mine. She was so proud of David. It is wonderful that there are those that choose an Occupation which serves people for our good! The photo shows friendly eyes and smile. Sincere sympathy & caring at this difficult time for sister, Denise, brother Daryl, & families as well as friends and co-workers. I am unable to attend the Remembrance Service but wish to send the message that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. May God in His comfort and love be with each of you. Dave & I were very close during our junior high and high school years. Growing up on the same block, in the summer we lived on the tennis courts at Gyro Park. Later we joined the Cranbrook tennis club together. In the winter we skied together at Kimberley. He was one of my first choices when I was looking for friends to be in my wedding party. We haven't seen much of each other since my wedding, but I always remember the good times we had. My deepest condolences to Daryl and Denise and their families and friends. Don Carmelo

I knew David as a teenager, my kids loved him to babysit as he got involved in the water fights both inside and outside. I will never forget crossing the border with a friend who had purchased a cat tree and declared it - never could find it in the many manuals they had to refer to but my fabric was there. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Flick and Robison families and his many friends, I will be with you in my thoughts on Thursday. Take care. Teresa
