Hi Lola and Bonnie and families -
My name is Heather Wilson - I am one of the daughters of Pat "Pansy" Rhodes Wilson - one of your dad's older sisters. I have only just found this notice of Uncle Nick's passing - and wish to offer our sincerest condolences from my son Kieran and myself! We last saw him and Rhoda in 2004 - when Kieran was 11 - and we were in Creston to inter my mom's ashes at her mothers gravesite in Creston! Uncle Nick and Rhoda came down for that as well. We spent a couple of wonderful days with Uncle Nick and Aunty Rhoda there in Kimberley in 2004. Kieran thoroughly enjoyed his time there with Uncle Nick - who took him out to do some rifle shooting - and showed him all the arrows and his bows and sparked an interest in Kieran of taking up archery himself when we returned to Vancouver!!! We actually had spent some time in Kimberley with them when Kieran was around 2 or 3 years old too! We did stay in touch by phone - but as often happens - life gets in the way - and we lost touch. I have often thought of Uncle Nick - and actually tried a few times to track him down - but now have found he has passed! I am so sorry to hear of his passing - and wanted to let you know I have many fond memories myself of Uncle Nick from my childhood too! Please accept our sincerest condolences!
