William August Woodske "Bill" 1946 - 2017 It is with profound sadness that the family of William Woodske announces his passing on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Cranbrook at 70 years of age. Bill was born on June 28, 1946 in Cranbrook. He loved the outdoors, fishing, curling and watching all sports. Bill made his daily excursions around town, which he enjoyed very much, talking to his friends and the people he met along the way. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Bill is survived by his loving wife Margaret, his daughter Barb (Glen), son Dale, son Roy (Tanice), granddaughter Rissa, adopted daughter Melanie (Cory), granddaughter Rhemi, sister Irene (George), brother-in-law Tom (Wendy) Maartman, uncle Carl (Muriel), nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a celebration of Bill's life on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Canal Flats Hall. Everyone is welcome to join our family to share memories of Bill.
