Dear Rollande: Although I only worked with you at Parks for a short time a few years ago I was always struck by your genuine and kind nature and the great love you exuded for your husband. I met him very briefly at your home one day and was also struck at his kind and happy nature. My heart goes out to you and your family. If you ever feel like a break I'm just up in Parson or if you'd like company I go by your house all the time on my way to my parents' home in Invermere. If you don't remember me, I'm the blonde that worked with you and Anne Holmes (we set a record in the gate that year and had Jim as our manager). My heartfelt sympathy. Sometimes the hurt is just too big for words and no words can express the sadness that we feel for the loss of such a wonderful man. Dear Rollande & Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Bob was 'One of a Kind'. We have fond memories of him from his days of growing up in Canal Flats and then the chance meetings over the past years. Dear Rollande and family, It is with great sorrow that we've learned of Bob's sudden passing and our heartfelt sorrow is offered to his memory. Bob taught us both through the years on a number of occasions and shared some of his personal stories which will not be forgotten. It is well known that Bob loved horses in life and if one could say anything, think Bob would understand this more than most; "A lovely horse is always an experience.... Dear Rollande, Lee, Ian and families: How sad we were to hear of Bob's passing. We cannot imagine the pain of loosing a husband, father and grandfather in an instant. What a tragedy. I saw Bob not too long ago and had a nice visit with him. He was always friendly, always made time to visit and I enjoyed his sense of humour. I keep you all in my prayers. So very sorry.
