To Alan's family, Bev and daughters. Alan worked with all of us here at Kootenay Rockies Tourism for many years and he became acquainted with our Board as well through his attendance each year at our Annual General Meeting. Everyone of us enjoyed Alan's presence, his quiet sense of humour and his kind and warm personality. We are all very saddened by his passing and on behalf of our entire Board and staff we send our most heartfelt condolences to you.

The staff and community of St. Mary's Catholic School wish to express our deepest sympathies to Alan's family. We loved working with Alan over the years! He always came to our school with great energy and enthusiasm and we loved discussing kayaking, running marathons, and any other great distraction we could find. He devoted a lot of his time to the betterment of our school both during his years on School Council and as our long term accountant. We appreciate his family sharing him with us!
