Myrna Liboiron 1940 - 2017 Our Mom, Grandmother, sister and friend Myrna Liboiron passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 12, 2017 in Cranbrook, BC. Myrna was born in Cranbrook on December 7, 1940 and worked at the St. Eugene Hospital until it closed. From there, she raised her children and then returned to work as a Long Term Care Aide at the F.W. Green Home until she retired in 1999. Mom then became a resident of the F.W. Green Home in 2016, until her passing. Mom adored her family and friends dearly and will be fondly remembered for her beautiful eyes, warm smile and her kind soul. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted children Leann (Dan) Kennedy and their children Tom, Murphy (Maddy) and Katie (Alex), Roxann (Mike) Barr and their children Jocelyn and Jake, Janice (Neil) Churchill and their daughters Carissa (Owen) and Meranda (Damian) as well as her son Alan (Cora) Liboiron and their children Taylor, Alex, Lucas, Kyle and Tanner. She is also remembered by her brother Melvin (Lucille) Pelkey and her sister Carolyn (Alan) Gentles, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Myrna was predeceased by her loving husband Clem, Mother Evelyn, her Father Bernard, Stepfather Charlie and her Grandson Cayden. A very special thank you goes to all of the Doctors, Nurses and the staff at the F.W. Green Home for their compassion and care. A heartfelt thank you also goes to the Hospice Society of Cranbrook. A private family service was held to celebrate Myrna's life. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun Of happy memories that I leave when life is done. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service. Condolences for the family can be offered at: www.mcphersonfh.com
