I grew to know Colin while working on The Wall on Honour for the Royal Canadian Legion. I thought this was going to be a difficult commission working with veterans, but Colin made it a joy. We got to be great friends and Sharon and I had many great visits with him at his home. Unfortunately we will be out of the country when his celebration of life is held, but we would like to give our sincere condolences to his entire family. He will always be in our hearts,

My husband knew Colin very well. He was regarded with the highest respect. When we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in 1992, Colin officiated as we repeated our vows. We were guests at his 80th birthday celebrations. We loved and admired Colin. He was a real gentleman, a rarity in today's society. He will be sorely missed.

Our sincerest, heartfelt condolences to Colin's entire family. Colin was one of my father's best friends. I always remembered Mr. Anderson as one of the nicest people who every visited us when we were kids. My Mom and Dad adored him. I was able to re-connect with him again a number of years ago and oh, how wonderful that has been. And funnily enough, he remembered me! I tried and tried to call him Colin at his request, but I just couldn't. He was always Mr. Anderson to me. I continued to see him off and on over the years and enjoyed every single minute of it!!! He seemed to as well. My husband and I will so sincerely miss his happy, bright smile and wonderful stories. He lit up a room!!! Melodie Hull & Steven Jugaru

Joe and I have known Colin over many years but latterly at Joseph Creek it was a pleasure to have him attend our United Church services. Colin was a cheerful attendee and it was wonderful to reminisce and talk with him.. A special gentleman. He will be missed by many. Sincere condolences.
