He is also survived by his sisters, Lois Carver of Cranbrook, Shirley Craig (Ken) of Calgary, Cathie Horie of Nanaimo, and brothers Pat Horie (Dee) of Courtenay and Malcom Horie (Alice) of Kamloops and many nieces and nephews and their children. Raymond grew up in Cranbrook and joined the Navy in 1957. He served for 5 years and then moved back to Cranbrook. When he was a milk man he met Tiny, they were married and soon had twins. Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Ray worked at CP Rail for many years as a Conductor. When he retired 12 years ago, they moved to Creston. He has since spent his time running the roads with his best friend Shannon Hood and copilot Shiloh, hunting for bargains to fill his food shelves in his Wilmart and getting into general mischief.
