Please share a memory of Edith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edith Lydia Jolie
1924 - 2017
Cradled in her father's arms, she was carried home as her parents walked from the hospital where she was born. From Cranbrook to Marysville in December of 1924, her parents made that proud journey.
On October 12th, 2017 she returned to her parent's arms and that of her Saviour after a long joy filled life, surrounded by loving family.
Edith was the devoted wife of Royce Jolie; the mother of Harvey, David, Judene and Calvin; the grandmother of Stephen, Darcalee, Michael Paul, Becky, Trish, Sara, Ben, Caylan and Christien; eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She worshipped at Laura Keer Community Church, now Marysville Community Church for over 60 years with her faith never wavering even in the darkest and challenging of hours. Her strength steadfast, her stoic common sense shepherded our family through
the years.
Edith loved the outdoors, and was always ready for an adventure.
She was quick to call out a nuisance, and quicker still to laugh it off with deep forgiveness which cannot be measured.
A celebration of Edith's life will be announced at a later date, giving all those that knew and loved her, the opportunity to come and share in the joy her life brought to others.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
