I first came to know Steve as Steph's co-worker at Cominco. Steve was always a kind and generous Presence. After the shutdown of Cominco's Kimberley Operations he remained a welcome visitor. As Steph's physical health declined Steve's broad smile and warm heart were special gifts to both of us. I will remember him well and he will always be alive in those memories......... We were so sorry to hear that Steve had passed away. He was such a great guy, always happy to see you. Being long time residents of Marysville we knew Steve quite well when we were all growing up together in a small town. In later years it's been a visit in Cranbrook whenever we happened to meet up. Please accept our sincere condolences, he will be sadly missed.
