Obituary of Virginia Loretta Grenier

Virginia Loretta "Lee" Grenier (nee DeWolfe) 1922 - 2018 Virginia Loretta Grenier passed away at the Invermere and District Hospital in on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 95 years of age. Virginia was born March 19, 1922 in Heatherton, Nova Scotia and baptized at Heatherton Parish. Virginia worked at different jobs over the years; one of them as a Foster Parent to Native children. Virginia was predeceased by her husband Phil Grenier, parents Alexander and Olive DeWolfe, brothers and sisters, and other family members. Virginia was the last in the line of her brothers and sisters. Virginia is survived by nieces and nephews in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, other family across Canada, and many dear friends; many of whom provided home care as well. Many thanks to the hospital staff and home care workers at Lakeview Manor who cared for Lee prior to her passing; her last few years were up and down health wise. On the last visit Lee was cheerful and spoke jokingly (as she often did) about different events of the past. Lee will be missed. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
