Obituary of Earl Gordon Pederson

Earl Gordon Pederson January 19, 1939 - March 22, 2018 Earl Pederson passed away in the comfort of his home in Cranbrook, BC on Thursday March 22, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Earl was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan in 1939 to Carl and Jean (nee Drurie) Pederson. He came to Cranbrook in 1966 with his wife, Pat and their children and started working at United Roofing where he stayed until his retirement. Earl and Pat separated in 1982 and eventually divorced. In the 50 years Earl was in Cranbrook he made many friends. One special friend was Michael Delamont who had lost his father. Earl helped to teach and council him and they became like family. After retirement Earl spent many hours in his shop either repairing someone's vehicle or building a project of his own. In 1998 Earl met his life partner, Jackie. Earl was survived by a loving family: his partner: Jackie Bonthoux; children: Denise Maclean, Brent (Corina) Pederson, Jason Bonthoux, Clayton (Crystal) Bouthoux and Michael (Chantelle) Delamont; grandchildren: Jeremy, Aydan, Michael, Megan, Joseph, Kayla-shay and Rene; sister: Chichi (Bill) Radiuk; brother: Don (Phyllis) Pederson and many nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his parents, sister Corrine Jorven, and brother Peter Pederson.
