Obituary of Dorothy Young

1926 - 2012

It is with great sorrow that the family of Dorothy Young announces her passing on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 86 years of age.

Dorothy was born on March 16, 1926 and the last of 11 children born to Susan and Carl Falconer. She was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies auxiliary.

Dorothy leaves to mourn her passing her sons Don (Susan) and Bruce (Heather); son-in-law Brian Laing (Glady); grandchildren John (Janice) Laing, Jamie (Teresa) Laing, Brent (Leane) Young, Jeff Young (Adrianna), Travis Young, Samantha Young (Chris); great grandchildren Stephanie & Jillian Laing, Madison Laing, Davis, Owen and Ty Young, brother-in-law Keith (Janet) Young, as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Murray and her daughter Karen.

At Dorothy's request, there will be no funeral service. A private family service will take place at a later date.
