So very shocked and saddened to hear of Marion's passing. She was the first connection we made when we moved to Cranbrook, for our daughter. She made the transition so easy and for many years was a pivotal influence in our daughter's inclusion in the school system. She will be dearly missed. Our deepest condolences to the family from the Duffy Family.

My name is Linda Olsen (Scott), one of the twins who nearly drowned in 1948 at three years old and it was Lorna's Mom and Dad who were part of helping us, and I believe her Dad getting one of us out of the water. Lorna was a great, caring woman, friend and Youbouite who we went to school with. I am so very sorry to hear about her passing. She was just too young. My love and condolences go out to the family who most have also been in our lives forever. Many hugs from Linda & Lorna Scott.

My heart is so sad, a truly lovely lady who will be so missed! Her heart was shared with so many, thanks to Marion's determination and tenacity the community of Cranbrook became a tremendous resource for individuals with disability. Marion worked toward community liviing opportunities for individuals living in institutions and she ensured that our education system became inclusive for all. An amazing woman who will be so missed.

Ted and family
My condolences to all of you. Many lovely memories of Marion from the first time I met her in Victoria and then the wedding. Time sent us all on different pathways over the years, but I enjoyed the tmes we were all in Trail around Maddline's table playing games, eating candy covered licorice. Madeline also kept me well srocked with Marion's lovely greeting cards.
Mom (Merle Ruckstuhl) and I would like to be with you for the service but I have company and can't get go Trail in time to pick her up.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you God bless.

My husband, Dwight Tardif was hired by Ted and worked with him for a few years. I remember Ted telling a story about getting pulled over in a seat belt check. Ted wasn't wearing his and received a ticket, he said Marion leaned over and spoke to the officer, saying, "I'm wearing mine". Ted laughed about that story.
Marion was so respected for her work with the school district, I know she made a
Difference for the kids. Dwight and I send our love to Ted and the family, Margaret McDonald
