Gary and I first met Susan in Vancouver when she and Peter were living on a boat in Vancouver. She was busy writing and editing a book for Jon Lee Kootnekoff at the time; the finished product was fantastic and in usual Susan style was perfect. Over the years we spent many happy hours visiting with Peter and Susan in Vancouver, on Gambier Island, and in Cranbrook; she was always so welcoming and friendly, terribly house proud, plus as always busy with many projects. We only heard today of her passing. Both Gary and I are devastated to hear the news. Susan has left this world but her incredible legacy will live on through her deeds and her words. The Pennington Family.
