Obituary of John Alexander Russell

John Alexander Russell "Jack" 1922 - 2018 It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jack Russell announce his passing on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Cranbrook, BC at 96 years of age. Jack was born on April 19, 1922 in the Crowsnest Pass in Alberta. Uncle Jack loved the outdoors, spending time with close friends, camping and panning for gold. He was very active for a man of his years, enjoying his freedom doing his own grocery shopping and getting around town in his little red scooter. Jack was predeceased by his wife Pauline. He will be interred in Serenity Gardens in Cranbrook alongside his wife. The family would like to thank the Cranbrook EMS and RCMP. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Please bring your stories and memories of Jack to share.
