Always got a call around Christmas from Uncle Jim, always asking if we had ever connected with / found my brother Ken. September 5th was mine and Clare's anniversary. And shortly after that we connected with Ken's two kids, Jacob and Tiffany. Then the beginning of October I talked to my brother for the first time in 20 some odd years. We just tried calling to tell Uncle Jim the news. Not getting thru we checked the obits. Uncle Jim would have been excited to add Jacob and Tiffany to his family history records. And to know Ken is alive and well. He answered a lot of questions for us as we searched out family history. Another wealth of history gone and sadly missed. James Roy Hale

Jimmy Deck was an Engineer as was my dad so they were good friends. i enjoyed chatting with him in the mMll when I had the opportunity to see him there. He would relate some railroad memories at times. Sincere sympathy to his family. In friendship & Caring, Irene (nee Paulson) Kaun

Great grandpa was one of the most loving grandparents anyone could ever be blessed with. He took the time to drive to see us several times a year growing up before his health began to turn. Holidays will never be the same without him and neither will sunflowers, which always bring me memories of his gardens and running through his sunflower patches and getting lost amongst them as a child. My grandpa will be missed dearly by everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him.
