Dear Purnell Family, My deepest condolences on the passing of Aunt Jerry. Aunt Jerry and I talked a lot over the years about her wonderful memories of the Knadle family. I treasure the quilt she made for my daughter Devon when she was born. I am happy that one of her mother's paintings got back to the family after having a daughter of a worker in Comox contacted me to help get it back to Jerry. I have found memories of her visit with us in Chemainus many years ago. Much love, Donna Gallie, Devon Knadle and Hamish Knadle.

Diane and family: My condolences to you and your family in the loss of your mother. I always remember your dad and your mom when they operated the Armond Theatre in Cranbrook. I remember all the matinees that we used to go to as kids. Time passes on, but we have our memories to cherish of the happy times we shared with them. Thinking of you at this sad time. Auntie Gerry was a special lady...one who had common sense, good judgement, a positive sense of humour, genuine interest people, animals and love of plants, flowers and soil grown food. She embraced immediate and extended family members when enjoying family gatherings/early trips which made for countless memories. Her care of her husband, Harold, is legendary. If love and determination could have given her more time she would have lived much longer. We wish peace for Donna, Diane, Darlene and all their family. Love Denele & Roger, Florrie Lynn, Peter and family and Gisele, Mark and family.
