Please share a memory of Raelynn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Raelynn Christine Nelson Our sweet baby Raelynn Christine passed away in the arms of her loving parents Derek and Valerie Nelson on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Vancouver Children's Hospital. She was born in Cranbrook on August 30, 2018. We were blessed to spend ten wonderful weeks with our sweet little girl. Raelynn had a smile that would warm your heart, and always reward-ed you with one when she was told "you're so silly". She had beautiful, bright, curious, blue eyes. She loved to watch her three big brothers run, jump, and play around her. She loved to dance with her daddy and her favorite spot was in her mommy's arms. In addition to her parents Raelynn is missed by her big brothers Aidan (9), Zachary (7), and Jacob (3); her paternal grandparents Sherry and Troy Nelson; and great grandparents Kathe-rine and Robert Nelson; her maternal grandparents Christine and Don Brehm and great grandparents John (Jack) Willicome, and Jean Brehm. Raelynn is preceded by, and in the loving care of, her great grandparents Karren (Lee) Wil-licome, Lyndall (Bim) Brehm, and Arlene (Law) Bester. The family would like to thank the emergency services in Cranbrook and the doctors and nurses at the BC Children's Hospital PICU for the incredible care provided to Raelynn and the entire family. The family appreciates all of the prayers and love extended to us during this dif-ficult time. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through McPherson Funeral Home. Any donations will go towards funeral arrangements for Raelynn and family support. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service. Condolences for the family can be offered at: www.mcphersonfh.com
