My Spirit lifts up on high;
As I watch an eagle dance across the sky.
The evergreens wave to and fro.
Peace and contentment starts to grow,
A trout in the gurgling brook;
Tugs and pulls on my hook.
The campfire flames reach and wave,
This is the moment my soul will save.
The smoke smells so true,
This is me, this is you.
The mountains are my sanctuary home,
It's there you'll feel me roam.
Please look for me here,
My mountain spirit will always be near.
