My wife and I have been fortunate enough to have known Del for the past 11 years. We met him during one of our trips to Radium to visit friends we met in Sun City Palm Desert. Each year we get to see Del and Doedy during their winter trips to Desert Center (Blythe) when they visit friends in Sun City to play golf in an annual Can/Am Golf Tournament. I have never met an individual who plays golf so fast and one who can carry on a conversation during the round stopping only to take a shot and sometimes even taking the shot during and ongoing conversation. Del loved to bet and enjoyed winning if he lost you were a BAGGER or sometimes even worse. Anyone who met Del had to just love the guy from the first handshake he is by far one of the best individuals I have ever known and will always be remembered.
