Obituary of Sarah Lynn Bain

Sarah Lynn Bain (nee Bushaw) June 20, 1961 - February 18, 2019 Sarah was born on June 20, 1961 in Westlock, AB. At the age of 11 Sarah relocated to Creston, BC with her family. In 1979 Sarah married Dave Leggett and they had three children and after divorcing she moved to the Okanagan/Shuswap area where she worked in the hospitality industry, a career that followed in her mother's footsteps. In April of 2012 Sarah married Ross Bain and in 2015 she relocated back to Creston to continue her career choice and opened up the Grey Goose Café in Kitchener, BC. In 2016 Sarah began a courageous battle with cancer for 2 1/2 years. Sarah is predeceased by her parents, sisters, Mary and Susan, and brother, Dale. She is survived by her husband, Ross, children, Tamara, Travis, and Amanda, grandchildren, Antonya, Lacey, Jasmine, Oden, Keira, and Brooke, sisters, Kay and Gwen, brother, James, as well as many nieces and nephews and all her extended family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Creston Valley Seniors Association on February 19, 2019 at 11:00 am.
