Obituary of Helen Jean Neil

1925 - 2010

Helen Jean Neil, loving wife of Richard "Dick" Neil; mother of Robert, Richard, David, Shawn and Ann Maureen (Ming) Neil; grandmother of Jodie, Justin, Erin, Rory, Bristal, Chelsea; great grandmother to Sage Coyne and loving sister of Norma Lockwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 8, 2010.

Helen lived within a rich social fabric in the community of Cranbrook, British Columbia and enjoyed a full and fruitful life surrounded by friends and family. She was a stalwart, courageous and caring woman whose last wish was that her family would remain close and care for one another throughout their lives. She will be missed by her family and all those people that she "touched" during her long life.

A Memorial Service, followed by a social gathering and tea, will be held at the United Church in Cranbrook, British Columbia on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm.
