Dear Heather, Dan, Candy & all other family members. My thoughts and prayers have been with you for the past several weeks, & will continue, especially on tuesday. For the last 12 winters, as I visited my friend Yvon on McLeary, Herb & Copper were always there as my "other" dear & special BC friends, for many weeks each year. Herb, my humble & generous storytelling friend, will always be my author of the expression "truth be told ..". For me, our three weeks together this march was more one of helplessness, in trying to do small things to make Herb more comfortable. However, I did get to know his special friend Candy, & enable him to tell me of how proud he was of his two grandsons, and their recent school projects. Herb, you are now at peace, & may our loving Father, hold you gently in the palm of his hand. Until we are together again, May God Bless You Continually.
