Dear Marion, I am so sad to hear about Gunner's passing. You will miss him so much!! I have fond memories that stretch back to the early years at Fellowship in Edmonton and more recently seeing you both in Invermere. When I last saw Gunner in February he was enjoying a hockey game with you. I was cheering for the Nelson team!! Such a gift his gentle presence and wonderful smile. Sending you love and blessings. Len and I will be away in Europe until June 18 and unable to attend his service. We will see you when we return Pat Roome

Gunner became a very good friend and golf buddy to me. He made me feel so welcome every time I came out from Calgary to golf. If he saw me start on hole one and he had already started he would back track to make sure I was not alone on the course. All I can say is I am going to miss this wonderful man.
