I have so many amazing memories of time spent with Uncle Phil! One of the most memorable times truly showcases the type of person he was and how big and humble of a heart he had. We came down to visit for the summer and Uncle Phil had us all sit down in the living room. He went to the kitchen and filled a large bowl with water, grabbed a cloth and came back to the room. He then proceeded to ask each of us if he could wash our feet. He wanted to serve and show love like Christ shows day in and day out. This has stuck with me for more than 20 years and it is an inspiring way to live. I am so sorry for your loss Aunty Holly, Vanessa, Bryan, Alanna and Renata. Uncle Phil you will be dearly missed and always remembered

Dear Holly and family,
Mary Agnes and I are devastated by the sudden passing of Phil. We have known you for so long, when you lived in Edmonton and then when you found the Columbia Valley after we build our cottage in Invermere. We stayed in touch and loved so dearly our many visits in Invermere.
We loved hearing you relate with so much pride as you shared news about all the grandchildren and how much you enjoyed helping and just being with them. You were so proud of your family and we could always see it in your smile when you shared with us, how and what they were doing.
May God give you the strength in this time of sadness to carry on and continue to enjoy your family.

Holly and family, we are greatly saddened over your loss of Phil. We will always remember the great times we had ministering in music together and the fellowship we enjoyed. Phil was a godly man, a lover of people and a true friend and even though we were separated after we moved away it seemed every time we got together again our friendship blossomed once again. Our prayers are with you Holly, Vanessa, Alanna, Renata and your extended families.

We are so very sorry for your loss. He was so young and was a very nice man and cousin. He used to visit his cousins in Winnipeg quite often when he was a younger something which we will always cherish.
We wish you all strength and know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Try to remember all the good memories and times that you enjoyed with Philippe because he will be forever in your hearts and lives.
We will say a special prayer for him and for everyone who is grieving his loss. May God give you strength and understanding to get through this time of sorrow.

Holly, Vanessa, Bryan, Alanna, Renata and all your families - my love and prayers go out to you at this time of great loss. I remember Phil as a kind, gentle man who always had a smile. I remember when your family first moved to Invermere and we got to know each other at the church. When we moved to Creston, Phil would stay with us when he came there to sell his beautiful books that we have enjoyed so much.
I recently saw him at Kicking Horse Coffee where we had a nice visit and got caught up on the latest family news. I know that you all were the most important thing in his life next to his love for God. May God bring you peace and comfort as you face the days, months and years ahead.:heart:
