Fergus Franklin Hartman passed away suddenly at Rock Lake Church Camp on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 66 years of age.
Fergie was born on September 1, 1945 in Vernon, British Columbia. He loved golfing, camping, woodworking and travelling. Fergie worked at the College Of The Rockies where he received his gold watch for 25 years of service. He truly loved the students and his fellow co-workers. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Fergie is survived by his loving wife Clara; his mother Mildred Hartman; his children Helen, Marian, Zoly (Marivic), Paul (Stacey), Graham and Patti; his grandchildren Stephanie, Scott, Jessika, Kelsy, Isabelle, Jordanna, Janessa, Caleb, Dameon and Melissa; brothers Will (Roberta), Lawrence (Marie), Louis; sister Heather (John) and many nieces and nephews, and our good friends Ron and Chris.
A memorial service for Fergie will take place at the Cranbrook United Church on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in honour of Fergie may do so to the: Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon
