Obituary of Harold George Reine

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Harold George Reine announces his passing on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the F. W. Green Memorial Home at 83 years of age.

Harold was born on February 19, 1927 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. He is survived by his wife Bernice of 61 years; his children: Judy (Del) Ryall, Carol Reine (Jim Reynolds), Rob (Noreen) Reine, Pam (Frank) Cross; grandchildren: Stacey (Mike) Piasta, Erica Cross (Mike), Jennifer Reine (Dan), Curtis Reine, Hayley (Wade) Oakley; his brother Lorne (Eileen) Reine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harold was predeceased by his parents George and Mary; his sister Esther and his brother Raymond.

Harold transferred with the Department of Highways to Cranbrook in 1971 from Creston, British Columbia. He worked hard for 30 years as a heavy equipment operator and welder until his retirement in 1988.

He loved camping with his family, working on projects in his shop and reading.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in honour of Harold be made to the Dr. F. W. Green Memorial Home, 1700 - 4th Street South, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 6E1.

A Celebration of Life in honour of Harold will be held at a later date.
