Obituary of Philip Walter Jennings

July 14, 1931 - August 10, 2012

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Walter Jennings on August 10, 2012 at the age of 81. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Mary Jennings and his children Carl (Trudy) Jennings, Louise (Trent) Henrikson, Michael (Janna) Jennings and Barbara (Robert) Dinning as well as 8 grandchildren.

Philip was born in Letchworth, England and graduated from Strodes College in Surrey, UK. He enlisted in the Royal Air Force and was commissioned as a Flight Lieutenant fighter pilot. As well as having a life-long love of cooking, Phil was a classically trained pianist and had his own Jazz band. After meeting the love of his life Mary, they immigrated to Canada with their young family. He taught computer science at various colleges before retiring to Kimberley, BC.
