The old saying " that his bark was worst than his bite" was certainly true for Kenny. As he coached us young guys he was always growling about something but we all knew he would do anything for us.
He left us with many memories like how he filled out the batting order. He would rattle off a few names like Walter, Garry,Joe,Ivan , Ryan and so as not to forget he say I'm number 9 and then he would finish the order. The last time I saw him we had a good time recalling old ball stories and talking about some of the predicaments we got in to - each of us had a version of why we got in those situations and then there was the right version - Kenny's
Thanks Kenny for all that you done for each of us on the Hazel Dell team and later the 49ers. You were the inspiration and driving force of those teams
