Obituary of Alice MacDonald

1933 - 2012

It's with deep sorrow that the family of Alice MacDonald (nee Duval) announces that she passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Cranbrook, British Columbia at the age of 78 years. Alice was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick on November 24, 1933.

Alice is survived by son's Dan (Karen) MacDonald, George (Sylvia) MacDonald and John MacDonald, daughter Anne Marie Grocutt, grandchildren Bailey (James) Gallant, Jesse MacDonald, Angela MacDonald, Roy MacDonald and Alyssa Grocutt, sisters Evelyn Kennah & Jane (Ray) Smith & many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Eric MacDonald, parents Georges & Ida Duval, brothers George, Arthur, Albert, Paul and Wilfred, and sisters Merilda Coughlan and Yvonne Harris.

A memorial service for Alice MacDonald will be held at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm.
