Dear Wendy and Family,
How many memories I have of those early days in Vancouver and Cranbrook after Tom and I travelled from Australia just so Tom could be near his dear friend Terry. (1975)You welcomed us with such generosity, first in the home of Wendy's parents, George and Marion Miller, and then in your own home in Cranbrook when Maureen was just a baby. Terry was so gentle as a family man and friend and so caring and as a social worker. He asked us to parent a very sick child who we later adopted and who is now a famous Native Carver, Wayne Thomas. Although we needed to leave the Kootenays in pursuit of a milder climate for the sick child, we cherish loving remembrances of those years near you in the Cranbrook/Kimberley area. Now Tom and Terry, George and Marion have all gone to their Father's House and await the rest of us, who will join them in eternal happiness in the not too distant future. We are with you in spirit, in prayers and in these shared memories. Peace! Patricia Fitzgerald.
