Obituary of Harry Edward Price

1954 - 2012

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Harry Edward Price announces his passing on Monday, September 24, 2012 in Crawford Bay, British Columbia at 58 years of age.

Harry was born on June 23, 1954 in Oakville, Ontario. Harry loved the water and the mountains and would spend many hours touring in his car or kayak absorbed in the beauty he saw around him. He was an excellent quilter and carpenter and often created his own patterns.

Harry is survived by his daughter Megan and sons Dylan and Eamonn of Toronto, Ontario; their mother Elizabeth Price; sisters Joan (Douglas) Hill of Mississauga, Barbara Crawford of Owen Sound, Ontario; and brothers Bruce (Janet) Price of Owen Sound, Ontario, Doug (Gayle) Price of Chatsworth, Ontario; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother John and his parents Helen and Harry Price.

An intimate service was held at the water's edge in Crawford Bay. Cremation preceded the service. A memorial service will be held in Mississauga, Ontario at a later date.
