Our deepest sympathies go out Wendy, Marilyn, and families. Aunt Rose was such a wonderful, kindhearted person. With the passing of my wife Rose Marie this past summer. Her support meant so very much. I will never forget that night in the early 70's. Rose and Harry, Doris and Bob, and my wife Rosie and myself spent square dancing in My Mom and Dad's (Doris and Bob's) kitchen. Aunt Rose taped the music the night before at a dance they went to in Mill Creek N.B. I'm sure they are all gathered together and dancing once again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dear Wendy, Marilyn & Families. What a blessing to have had such a loving and gentle Mother. I will hold dear in my heart our relationship, although she was so much better at connecting with me then I with her. The first time I met your Mom was when she & your Dad lived on the Island. It was a pleasure to realize she had been a long time friend of my Mom and they had been in Toronto together in their 20's! At that time I discovered your Mom, I was still grieving for my Mom, Rose was so very good to me. I recall with great affection and humor her making me a pair of white hipster bell bottom pants!! We had many laughs about that years later. I know she is happy with her many loved ones in heaven. My very deepest sympathy, I will keep you all in my prayers. Love Irene

Wendy and Rose and families: thank you so much for letting me know about the death of your dear mum. She and I wrote to each other for long time and i have kept her letters, they are a real treasure for me ..she was so proud of her family and very active, talented lady with a great sense of humour and i just loved her. I was so glad, Wendy, when we saw each other your last trip here ...As with my old Dad i was so grieved to loose him but also so glad he was released from his illness and i am sure you are going through the same thing ...it is a very hard time and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
